RF BASED SECURITY SYSTEM FOR BANKING APPLICATIONS

ABSTRACT:

This project is aimed to design a security system for banks using wireless technology RF.

                     This project is designed in such a way that to provide the security to the banks in the night time through RF communication using 8051 microcontroller. In night time if any person entered into the bank locker room then automatically an alert will come through the buzzer in security room of the bank. This project will active in the night time only. To bring the project into active mode at night time we are using Light sensor Light Dependent Resistor [LDR] and to detect the presence of the people inside bank we are using IR sensors. All these sensors are interfaced to the microcontroller and RF transmitter also interfaced to the microcontroller through the encoder HT12E. At security room RF receiver will be interfaced to the microcontroller through the decoder HT12D and Buzzer is also interfaced to the microcontroller.

                    LDR will give two different pulses at day time and night time and similarly the IR sensor will yield two different pulses for both presence & absence of the people. Our controller will monitor the LDR continuously for the night time indicating pulse. Whenever the night indicating pulse came from LDR the controller brings the IR sensor into the active mode. Then the controller will monitor both IR sensor and LDR continuously. If any person entered into the bank the controller receives the corresponding pulse and sends an alert signal to security room through RF transmitter. At security room RF receiver receives the alert signal and enables the Buzzer.

                   This project uses regulated 5V, 500mA power supply. Unregulated 12V DC is used for relay. 7805 three terminal voltage regulator is used for voltage regulation. Full wave bridge rectifier is used to rectify the ac output of secondary of 230/12V step down transformer.
