Abstract :

Now a day’s Many real time applications connected to web(internet).This is very useful and helpful for customers to see application(requirements) from anywhere in the world. These web connected applications belong to server client model. TCP, UDP and HTTP protocols are used in this concept. Data transfer to web server is done through GPRS (General packet radio services) communication. We can transfer large amounts of data through this GPRS. Many Embedded Networking applications fall under this model only.

In any type of mines loading and unloading of material is a dailyactivity. The details of what type of material and how much quantity of material was loaded and unload are maintained manually through written records. There is wide range of scope to manipulate the manual data entry.By using this project we can easily eliminate this problem. Thisproject consists 16X2 LCD and 4X4 key pad. Entry of vehicle detected by sensor and exit of vehicle is also detected by sensor. By using these two sensors we can get the number of vehicles coming in and going out. The vehicle service man enters vehicle details like license number, material type …etc.,this information is passed to microcontroller and microcontroller develop TCP/IP stack with particular data format.Through IP address and Port number.

Here we use 8051 as a microcontroller with 5v DC Power supply. Its having some Basic inputs and outputs. Serial(UART) protocol is primary concern here. The main heart of this project is GSM/GPRS modem and it work on GPRS AT commands. 16X2 LCD is connected to microcontroller through Digital I/O lines.
